Why is the clinic called Oma
Chiropractic?
Growing up, Dr. Karen
Jongedijk had a fantastic grandmother and they called her Oma. It’s not
a well-known word in English but sounds nice and is easy to pronounce
(unlike her dutch last name!) The word Oma holds a lot of meaning for
us. An “Oma” is caring and wise and someone you go to for advice. Oma
also contains the word “om” which means the possibility for a different
reality. So, hopefully, people come to our clinic for support, to get
to a better place, and have us in their lives as they continue living
well.
Our enjoyment comes from
seeing what you can accomplish when your body is functioning well. We
aim to make you stronger, healthier and more resilient through regular
ongoing chiropractic care. Our reward is sharing in your happiness when
you get to do things you love.
